Summary

Habinshuti has over fourteen years of experience in leading public policy development and in coordinating risk management and humanitarian interventions in the East African Region. He has led numerous projects funded by the World Bank, African Development Bank and various donors such as the EU, UNHCR, UNDP, UNDRR, WFP and GIZ.   • Performed over 80% on Ministry’s performance contracts between 2018 and 2021.
  • Technically coordinated response to major emergencies including 2021 volcanic eruption and resulting earthquakes, humanitarian consequences of Covid 19, climate disasters of 2018 and 2020 where more 1.5 million people were directly and indirectly affected.
